Our Viking Weave Sterling Silver Band features a continuous, interlocking weave pattern based on traditional Celtic knots, hand-cast in sterling silver. Available in a thinner band (sizes 6 to 10) and a slightly wider band (sizes 8 to 13), depending on current inventory.

The Celtic Knot

The intricate Celtic knot (snaidhm Ceilteach in Scottish Gaelic) is a staple of Gaelic and Caledonian art for the past several millennia. A variety of endless or basket knot design, the Celtic knot can be found throughout ancient and modern Celtic artwork. These delicate spirals and step patterns flourished in Celtic art before Christian influences in the area. The designs soon found their way into early Christian artwork by the mid 400s AD. The delicate heart knot creates a series of interlocking hearts along a straight border.
